 Sharon Springs Center

Our center has expanded with the cooperative effort between Sharon Springs Central School and SCCDC to offer a Universal Pre-K program for another year in conjunction with Head Start.  We now have a smaller 3 year old group that meets twice a week for class and a 4 year old group that has class five days a week.  The 4-year-old group consists of children in the district who would like a preschool experience.  We are able to offer transportation, health screenings, nutritious meals, parent involvement and a developmentally appropriate curriculum to all children.

Our Farm Stand - October 2010

Our Farm Stand has a mixture of real and pretend vegetables.  We used our zucchini to make our own bread and sent the recipe home.  It was delicious.  Many of us had never seen how brussel sprouts grow on a stalk.  Later we read Tops and Bottoms and made a bulletin of how vegetables grow.
