The Lark Street Childcare Center is
located at 114 Lark Street, Cobleskill, NY. The Center, which is
licensed by the N.Y.S. Office of Children and Family Services, is
designed to serve children in the general community. The
center is open year round Monday through Friday from 7:00 am-5:00
pm.
We look forward to working
closely with you and your child. The Center recognizes that you
are the most important influence in your child's life.
We sincerely believe this philosophy and are committed to
keeping the lines of communication open with you regarding your child.
The Center has outdoor
playgrounds and a Gross Motor Room gymnasium. Infants, Toddlers,
Pre-Schoolers, Wrap-Arounders and Kidz Club are served breakfast, lunch,
and snack. Parents provide food for infants under the age of 12
months.
General Eligibility
Requirements for LSCC
To be eligible for the
infant/toddler program children must be between 6 weeks and three years
old. To be eligible for the pre-school/wraparound program children
must be between 3 years and 5 years. Children must be in good
health with an up to date physical and immunizations verified by a
physician's statement. In addition, a bi-annual child physical is
required thereafter.
How Can Parents Participate at LSCC?
Parents can
be involved in all aspects of LSCC if they choose. They can
volunteer in classrooms, on field trips or for special events. Parents
are welcome to help out throughout the program.
In Lark Street Childcare
Center, parents may
be involved in LSCC Parent Advisory Committee if they wish to come
to meetings.
Parent Nights
Parent Nights are held a
few times throughout the year. They include fun activities, an Open
House and a barbeque for all children and their families.
