SCCDC helps make learning fun and children’s activities are geared toward learning and play. The program uses an age appropriate curriculum for children in all classrooms to enhance educational services.

SCCDC proudly provides services to Schoharie County families in the following programs:
 
  • Schoharie County Head Start (SCHS)
  • Schoharie County Early Head Start (SCEHS)
  • Lark Street Childcare Center (LSCC)
  • Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK)
  
The agency also offers services for older adults in Lark Street Senior Care Center at the Cobleskill center.
 
We are here to make your child's journey into education a playful and exciting learning experience. SCCDC offers quality programs and services that will ensure that your child receives a strong educational foundation for his or her future.  
 
To ensure that we are providing your child with what he or she needs be sure to maintain contact with the our staff regularly. Please call your child's Teacher, Family Advocate, Center Manager or Director or any member of the agency management team with your questions or concerns.
